• Chicken Fried Rice

    Although this dish is not considered a traditional hmong dish, it is very popular in our family. This recipe is made with chicken. Any type of meat will work, including seafood. You can also make it without meat and almost any type of vegetable you prefer.Is your rice sticking to the Wok/pan? A seasoned wok should help, Go here…

    Heat wok with oil. When hot add chopped vegetables. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and a dash of MSG. Fry for about 2-3 minutes and remove into bowl. Add oil to wok and fry/scramble eggs with the salt, pepper and MSG. Fry until mostly solid but still runny. take out of wok and add to vegetable in bowl. Add 2 tablespoon of oil to wok. Add the rice. Stir-fry for 1-3 minutes, using chopsticks or wooden spoon. Stir in the soy, fish sauce and sugar. Add vegetable and eggs.

    2 large eggs
    1/2 cup – Chopped Carrots,
    1/2 cup – chopped peas,
    1/2 cup – chopped oinion

    salt, sugar, pepper, and MSG
    4 tablespoons oil
    4 cups cold cooked rice
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. fish sauce
    2 Tbsp. white sugar
